The Air Jordan 1 Retro High is a must-have silhouette for sneaker enthusiasts. Paying homage to the iconic model created by Peter Moore, Jordan releases a version filled with irony, as the pair mocks the sneaker resale market in which it is highly represented.
This model, called No L’s or “Not for Resale”, is dressed in the colors of the Chicago version of the Air Jordan 1, with a black and white base and red accents. The humorous aspect of the pair can be found in the inscriptions on the heel, “No Photo” in reference to the sneakers’ high media exposure, and in the inscriptions “Not for Resale” and “Wear Me” placed on the outsole and tongue, ironically indicating that the bulk of the sneaker market revolves around buying and reselling.
