Every year, Nike offers six hospitalized young individuals the chance to personalize their own sneakers. In the event of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2023, the talented Hugo Covarrubias Molina showcases his interpretation of the Air Jordan 3.

The Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher XIX features a stunning base of navy leather, enriched by splashes of green paint that adorn the upper. This vibrant green also appears on the outsole, parts of the midsole, and the tongue. Additionally, the classic elephant print accents remain present on the mudguard and heel, while Hugo’s nickname, “Juice“, is emblazoned on the heel. To top it all off, the phrase “It’s ok to be different” elevates the aesthetic of the outsole, complemented by a charming “H” shaped charm accompanying the sneakers.
