To celebrate the 30th anniversary of MJ’s seventh signature model, the creative teams at Jordan Brand turn to West Africa, specifically Nigeria, the birthplace of the Afrobeats movement.
The Air Jordan 7 SE Afrobeats features a light brown leather base covering the entire upper. Several engraved patterns add to the structure and echo West African sculptures. Its neoprene tongue displays a black and white design also found on the heel. True to its retro heritage, Tinker Hatfield’s design is enhanced by a black sole with colorful details and a Nike Air logo embroidered on the heel.
Popularized by artists such as Wizkid and Burna Boy, the Afrobeats movement breaks boundaries and continues to make its mark internationally!
