Specializing in Afro-streetwear, the label Maison Château Rouge renews its collaboration with Jordan Brand. This time, Youssouf Fofana and his creative teams revisit MJ’s second signature model. Drawing inspiration from the bonds that unite different cultures, the Parisian brand offers us a premium version of the 1986 model.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro SP Maison Château Rouge United Youth National features a full-grain leather base in an off-white hue. Various embossed details adorn the upper and reference scarification, an aesthetic custom present in several West African ethnic groups. Brogue-style perforations surround the upper and complement the triangular cutouts. The heel and toe of the pair showcase orange suede panels inspired by the SBB colorway. The entire ensemble rests on a beige speckled sole with a brown insole, personalized in the style of a commemorative cloth (wax).
A true ode to the youth of the world, it is part of the United Youth National collection that celebrates the history of the Franco-African community with inspirations ranging from Chicago to Dakar to Paris!
