New Balance introduces a Protection Pack consisting of three 2002R sneakers featuring a deconstructed reconstructed design.
The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Sea Salt showcases a white upper made of smooth leather and suede. The edges of the panels appear to have been cut with a knife, giving the pack a deconstructed look. In the same vein, there is a raw-edged tongue revealing foam underneath. The shoes are finished with a slightly aged ABZORB sole.
The 2002R makes a strong comeback after two collaborations with Salehe Bembury which have greatly contributed to the reintroduction of the silhouette originally released in 2010.
