New Balance 610 Aminé The Mooz

After releasing his latest album, created in collaboration with DJ Kaytranada, Aminé unveils his debut sneaker design in partnership with New Balance. 

The New Balance 610 Aminé The Mooz features a vibrant yellow mesh upper, which is the rapper’s favorite color, hailing from Portland. Elegant brown leather overlays add a touch of shine, while the back showcases the number 610 accompanied by a photograph of Aminé’s face. A striking banana illustration is also prominently displayed on the heel, a nod to the Club Banana brand created by the rapper. This design element also pays homage to the nickname given to the sneaker, “The Mooz,” which translates to banana in Amharic, a dialect Aminé was exposed to during his childhood.

This refreshed version of the NB 610 will come packaged in a special box, adding an extra layer of appeal for collectors and fans alike.
