Edson Sabajo and Gee Schmidt, co-founders of the renowned Patta brand, have unveiled their latest collaboration with New Balance. This time, the Amsterdam shop focuses on the iconic 990 V3 model, a premium design crafted in the USA.
The New Balance 990 V3 Patta Keep Your Family Close celebrates the strong bonds we share with our family members. Inspired by the symbol of the tree, the Patta creative teams have infused the shoe with color codes and roots (which may nod to the Surinamese origins of the two creators). The premium mesh base is adorned with multiple overlays of olive green suede, while vibrant green details add a striking contrast. A subtle co-branding featuring the Patta logo and a script “P” embellish the heel, complemented by a speckled midsole for a finishing touch.
Following the successful editions by Teddy Santis and JJJJound, this new retro-running silhouette is already poised to be one of the standout releases of the year!
