19 years later, Nike unveils a new Air Max 1 Urawa inspired by the third jersey of the Japanese football club Urawa Red Diamonds.

This Nike Air Max 1 Urawa (2023) features a black mesh base with gray leather overlays. The side Swoosh is adorned in white leather, matching the panel above the toebox, the fabric lining, laces, midsole, and the embroidered dragon on the heel as a nod to the Urawa players’ nickname. Reflecting the Red Diamonds’ color scheme, the eyelets are red, just like the Air Sole unit.
